The Vi Peel uses a blend of phenolic acids, vitamin C, and Retin-A to improve the appearance of all skin types with little to no downtime. This treatment will specifically help with fine lines and wrinkles, melasma, hyperpigmentation and age spots as well as large pores. Patients with acne or acne scars will also notice clearer skin.
Unlike other chemical peels, the Vi Peel is designed to safely treat other areas of the body including the hands, arms, chest, back, and elbows. This peel is safe and effective to use on all skin types. During the treatment, patients with sensitive skin may experience a stinging sensation that resolves within a few minutes. Our expertly trained providers will use a cooling device if necessary to help minimize any discomfort. This is a quick treatment that does not require any pretreatment. The skin does not usually begin peeling until day 2 post treatment and once it begins peeling, it will continue for about 3 days. We can schedule you accordingly so that your three day recovery period falls over the weekend or whenever is best for your schedule. The Vi Peel is designed to be used every 3-4 months to help correct the visible signs of aging and to maintain collagen production after laser or other resurfacing procedures.

You may experience a slight tingling or stinging sensation when the solution is first placed on your skin that lasts several minutes and quickly resolves.
Most patients will not experience significant redness, swelling or peeling for the first couple of days. On day 3, you can expect the skin to begin peeling and sloughing and this process lasts for up to 3 days.
After the peeling process, the skin will begin to appear brighter with decreased hyperpigmentation, pore size and improved texture. It may take up to 4 weeks to see full results.
